Interior Decorator

Interior Design is a personal affair. I love starting with a project where nothing quite works and seeing it through to completion, where the whole house or environment works practically but also looks lovely. I like to give a personal service to clients, 'holding their hands' through a project and hopefully preventing them from any expensive mistakes. It is good to source interesting and individual items for clients. A wealth of trusted individuals have been built up over the last 30 years.

My degree was in History and History of Art at Bristol University and I specialised in the English Country House, enjoying both contemporary and antique styles and often combining both. I then went into Business and Property management, doing up apartments for clients from there. I started my own Interior Decorating business in 1987.

There are new challenges today with incorporating modern technology such as lighting and sound to increase the drama of any interior. There are also so many choices of style and design that it is often baffling to decide which way to go. I help with all of these aspects of redoing your home and offer a lot of reasonable options.
